Answer» I got asked a very interesting question today.
In outlook, in the calander view when you single click an appointment(from NOTHING selected), and wait one second, it automatically will try to EDIT the subject.
See attached Picture
How do you stop this?
Cheers
-EddieWhat other reason would there be to click on it other than edit it?Yes, it does defy the "once to select, twice to edit" rubric, doesn't it? Outlook is a bit of a law unto itself. But in spite of all that, it's a HECK of a program and one of the very few Microsoft offerings that I can bring myself to praise.
If you don't want to go into edit mode, you need two operations instead of the one. First click, then hit ESC on your keyboard. Sorry about that! But it'll come automatically, soon enough. I figured out last night, that if you click that little blue strip, then it wont edit, just select.
Thanks for your replies guys, i think I like this FORUM!!This is what I mean:Ah yes. I knew that...
