Solve : Dos Box problem? |
|
Answer» I don't get this at all. I left my computer running Folding and another programme all day then when I came back to my computer without me starting it DosBox had kicked in with the following pic. Then it WOULD at first not let me save the picture of the screen. Any ideas what could of caused this? I've run a quick Norton scan and it came back clean.... DOSBox is a DOS-emulator that uses the SDL-library which makes DOSBox very easy to port to different platforms. DOSBox has already been PORTED to many different platforms, such as Windows, BeOS, Linux, MacOS X...Before I go through all this. Can I just say I have not started DosBox and it started by it's self. I have not added anything to it at all no emulaters or programmes. I only use Dos box for a few games (betrayal at Krondor, Moonstone and dreamweb). It just shocked me when the C: drive had been attempted access. Which as you now takes somebody to access. Or may be not I don't know it just came as a SHOCK. I thank you in advance for your help evilfantasy. It wasn't clear if you had installed it or not. Folding as you know is heavy on CPU's. Something might have happened while folding and DosBox somehow launched. That's just speculation. I really have no clue. Thanks evil.. no worries it just seemed strange that it activated and was ACCESSING the C: drive for my name and documents.... Thanks for your TIME mate. |
