Answer» Does anyone know of a good driver scanner and one that will update the drivers. Thank OjasDrivers should be uploaded INDIVIDUALLY by the user. THIRD party "driver scanners" are at best USELESS and at worst dangerous. Visit the website of the hw manufacturer for the device you want to update, download the latest driver, and install it manually. More Important - do not update ANY driver unless there is a specific need and reason to do so - "NEWER" is not a good reason. If your current driver provides the needed functionality, do not update it.I stand my point with #2, because I USED to have painful experience with driver scanner and updater. The allegedly powerful driver scanner almost killed my system with wrong drivers. I should have not be tempted by the misleading driver update news issued by the driver scanner. So make your update through official approach. |
