Answer» Rebuilding a comp that was sitting for a few years i came along a few problems.. XP was originally installed.. now its not found. Found 98, installed it and now it wont reconize the cd-dvd ROMS(2). Found drivers for them...on cd.. back to original problem.. no disc drive-drivers found.. will not install them unless its on floppy. dont have a floppydrive on hand to formatt a disk.. Now IM not a FLUENT comp builder.. but i know the basics of it- formatting, adding cards and what-not and sticking disks into drives I'd appretiate ANY helpWindows has all the drivers you need. There is nothing that you should need to add. How about simplifying things by only having one CD drive connected and walking us through all of the steps you are TAKING?
