Solve : DVD and CD ROM?

Answer»

I was wondering if anybody could help me with a problem.I have an Emachine that has a DVD RW AND a CD ROM, both have worked fine for the past year, however LAST WEEK EVERY time I tried to play or RIP a  CD on any of the media players on my computor they would tell me to INSERT  the CD which I already had. Later I also tried my DVD drive and recieved the same response . My computor now can only play MUSIC that has already been RIP or downloaded to my library.  ThanksClean DVD and CD-ROM drives with a lense cleaning kit.

Assuming this is Windows XP (People should learn to be less negligent)

1. Right click on My Computer
2. Properties
3. Hardware tab
4. Device Manager button
5. Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives

Are there any exclamantion points or question marks?
