Solve : DVD Burn with Menus? Recommendation Needed? |
Answer» I had used Nero in the past - I think I had 5 or 6 - thought it was a real dog's breakfast of a program, to be honest. (In fact, I just sent my CD to my dad last week - it was included on the driver disk that came with the DVD burner I sent....) Start NeroSmart, upper right corner, select CD or DVD.Super DVD Video EditorThanks, with a name like Super DVD Video Editor, how can I go wrong. (Sorry - I thought it was implied I was no longer using Nero, based on the fact that a) I referred to it as "dog's breakfast" and 2) I no longer have the disc...) But I'll take any and all other suggestions! ThanksTry DVDFlck. My favorite: ConvertXToDVDSo - in addition to being cheap, I'm picky. DVD Flick Is there a way to get the "Title" menu to appear FIRST? The only way I can make it work, there's the "Select Title [/] Resume/Play" screen, and when you hit "Select Title" you get your options. I'd love to have that "Select Title" screen be the homepage. (And boy I'd love to be able to edit the screens...) Super Video Editor The way I see it, I can only take video from a camera and make a DVD... I want to take AVI files and put THEM on DVD. Am I doing something wrong? ConvertXtoDVD Looks awesome, but is it worth the 30 clams? Thanks all for advice and help, hate to sound UNGRATEFUL - I'm not!!! rjbDid you download the right program? Homepage http://www.alldj.com/video_editor/video_editor.htm Download http://www.alldj.com/video_editor/SDVDEditor.exe It's not the most user-friendly program but once you get used to it it can be quite useful. Here's a better program. DVD Styler - http://www.dvdstyler.org/DVD Flick. http://www.dvdflick.net/ Read the instructions.Quote ConvertXtoDVDIt'll do almost anything, you want and it works seamlessly.I put in a vote for ConvertXtoDVD. I have used it for a while and am happy with it. I did find DVD Styler before I saw your post, and was pretty happy with the result. It's a bit clunky - and I couldn't add music to the menus, but it seems to be a workhorse. I will take another look at DVD Flick - only because you said so! And will double-check where I got the Super DVD Editor [sic] from. Thanks again all! |
