Solve : DVD Burning Error's? |
|
Answer» HI, I'm on a Toshiba Laptop, Windows XP home, SP3.... For some reason when I try to burn DVD's just in the last week I keep getting errors, worked great before.... My DVD's still PLAY OK, just burning is the problem.... The 2 programs I have tried are Starburn and DVDFab Platinum, the error messages are below.... Any idea what may be causing this problem? Or how to fix this? I ran SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes last night, nothing came up.... [recovering disk space -- attachment deleted by admin]It seems I cant burn audio CD's either, I get this error when using Starburn..... For audio cd's, I am assuming you're making regular music cd's that can be played in a STANDALONE cd player. Try using windows media player or ITunes to try to burn them to see if it works. I know its not the discs, I have used both the blank audio and DVD's dozens of times before.... [recovering disk space -- attachment deleted by admin]I forgot to mention that WMP burned 2 songs before it quit, so it seems my laptop can still burn SOMETHING, must be a reason why its quitting.... I just tried burning a DVD again with Starburn, it burned 13% before it went to an error, tried 2 songs and of course it worked, but nothing after that, can ANYONE help me with this? There has to be a reason for these errors....Burners use two lenses, one for playing, one for burning. Did you try lens cleaner, slower burning speed? |
