Solve : DVD Burning Question?

Answer»

Well, it doesn't matter what NERO says.
You need to know what type of DVD drive you have in order to know what kind of DVDs you need.
DVD+RW will need DVD+ disks (sometimes, it'll record on DVD-...MINE does)
DVD-RW will need DVD- disks (only). If they say CD-R's then there not DVD's by any means...Quote from: Broni on December 16, 2007, 03:03:18 PM

Now I just need to figure out a way of finding out what type of DVD drive I have....Quote
its a new HARD drive put into a slightly older tower.
I assume DVD drive, not hard drive, right?
Who bought it? Do you still have a box?
What does Device Manager say? This may not even be a burner here....Quote from: patio on December 17, 2007, 06:27:18 AM

Besides, I can play DVD's, safe to assume I can burn them to, will find out tomorrow when I buy the proper blank DVD's....Quote
DVD-RAM
If you mean DVD-ROM, it's read-only DVD drive. It'll play DVDs, but it won't burn them.Quote
