Answer»

hello again everyone, my computer has/was behaving nicely   ; D  so i have RETURNED within 3 weeks with yet another PROBLEM .. please bear with me it may be a long paragraph. i have an intel cel.. win 2002 home ed service pk 3 512mb ram mother board is phoenix award bios .. and i hope that is enough info if not let me know and i will provide.. 2 days ago i burnt some info onto a cd ooopps its a pioneer dvd  player thats all i can give at present due to the fact that it has dissapeared of the device manager.  as well as not being visible in (my computer) . i have just tried to copy some more info and this is the problem ... it loads  the file to the piont of... files are waiting to be written to the cd so the wizard pops up with his box and says click next... then it starts to write and then i click next .. and then the wizard states that there is no room on the cd plese insert a new cd to continue .. i have tried to write on to 2 brand new cds and the disk i copied onto 2 days ago .. yet the strangest thing is that in order to put a new cd into the drive i have to restart and the dvd driver is in (my computer) and is ALSO in device manager but after trying to write onto the cd i get the same as before (no room on cd) then i cannot open the dvd / cd player ( its like there is no power on it ) untill i restart and go back to square one  my cmos set up states that it is the secondary master .. thanks heaps for a= reading all that  B= any HELP provided cheers  ... restarted and info is dvd /rw drive D.. and in device manager=dvd/cd rom drives thanks patio      i followed the advice that you gave to (lovely) with a similar situation my problem is solved what can i say....LEGEND!!Glad it worked out ...and you're more than Welcome...
