Solve : DVD Drive and devices not showing in 'Computer' in vista.? |
Answer» new question. This makes no sense whatsoever...What do you mean? Never heard of this? Oooops...forgot......sorry.Quote from: PC Maniac on August 25, 2010, 02:27:43 PM u want the good news or the bad news? Doctors do something similar all the time. Somebody will come in that chopped their arm off in some fashion (perhaps they didn't know what a guillotine did) the doctors are trained well in this, and rather quickly don the rubber GLOVES and do some investigating. The patient, while confused at the sudden and seemingly redundant rectal attention, will be astonished to see that their hand has come back. This is because the doctors are massaging their brain, which clearly resides down there given that they just chopped off their own arm. So you see, completely nonsensical troubleshooting tactics can often YIELD breakthroughs in the sciences.Yeah sry about that. I was just so happy that it works now. But I don't know how the DVD drive came up all of a sudden when i PLUGGED in my memory stick but what i do know is that it EITHER could've been me updating my BIOS or just disabling some dll files that were not found. I downloaded this program called 'autoruns' and it gives you a LIST of programs and files. It also has check boxes beside the programs and files and lets you either enable or disable them. But im sure its to do with the BIOS though. All working now though. Anyway, thanks. MattQuote I downloaded this program called 'autoruns' and it gives you a list of programs and files. I'm guessing this is where things went South and it has nothing at all to do with the flash drive... |
