Solve : DVD problems...?

Hi!

I own an hp PAVILLION zv5000 laptop with an DVD/CD recording drive(TOSHIBA).My OS is XP Home

and my recording software is Nero Burning Rom 6x.
Nero`s system informations keeps telling me that i can use DVD+R disks.Recently bought

myself a brand new pack of TDK DVD´S (+R) but each time i TRY to create a data DVD I keep

getting the MESSAGE that the disk its not a valid one (tryed all the 25 of them)...
Drving me nuts here...any sugestions...?
Appreaciate some help plz...

Ok... Keep in touch then...

[glb]Flame[/glb]Hi It sounds like you dont have a DVD Recorder just a player
go to My computer and right click on the shown drive go to properties and see if there is a recording tab on the top if not no recorder.
