Answer» I have followed the instructions in another thread 'Driver for Dynex DX-UBDB9 Cable (serial to USB)' to download the PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_10311.z ip for Windows 7 (64 BIT). I need to change the baud rate to 115200. When I change the settings in control panel, hardware, properties, ports I can change from the default of 9600 to 115200, hit Ok, and then if I immediately reopen the port properties it is back to the default of 9600. Any IDEAS? PS - I have successfully changed the rate on an XP MACHINE in the past. Is this Windows 7 specific?
