Notepad doesn't recognise ASCII page feed characters QUITE the way DOS-level programs understand them. I'm not sure, but possibly HITTING Ctrl+Enter in Notepad might force a new page. Try that from Notepad. If it works, you can then inspect the file to find out what ASCII characters are used. But normally, Notepad reformats pages and prints them as it sees fit.
