I hope I'm in the right place with my question.

Is there a progamme that will erase DATA from a CD, and can the CD be reused. :-?Depends on whether the CDs are CD-R or CR-RW.  R = recordable (but not re-writeable); RW = re-writeable.Sorry I should have said, CD-R'SNot yet.
From CD-R data can't be deleted physically, so utilities won't help.

long tom, you might also like to know that, although you can't erase a CD-R, you can record data on them in MULTIPLE sessions if you tell your CD writing SOFTWARE to do this.  In other words, you can TAKE a blank CD, burn data to it, and then later burn more data to it if there's still enough free space left on it.  My experience is with Nero.  I prefer the "safe factor" - burn what you want and finalize it. Data is safe and NO surprises.  Thank you all very muchU are welcome.
