I am using xp os.
In my pc. I am getting a error when I go in run and type cmd.
To go for command PROMPT.Automatic a error comes that is.


SYSTEM is shutting down. And the count down begins from 00.49: 01 .

So why am I getting this error. Have I done any wrong setting or what. I don’t know So please tell me how should I close this error or PREVENT this error from coming.

was this system infected with anything before this... sounds like the cmd was replaced with another cmd in system folder. Some virus's try to protect themselves from removal by blocking access to cmd prompt and others kill task manager taskmgr.No my system was not infected before. Only i am fedup . i am not able to remove
E-Trust anitvirus which is there in my taskbar (right side where date is there). So is that because of this E-Trust.

service packs installed / when did it start happening / did it ever work right / installed any new software?

I also saw it 1st time it happened. Bca everytime i opened command by typing command. But now when i typed cmd i saw this error.

when again i restart my pc it was WORKING right. Only if again i type cmd in run. Again i got error. means the error is in cmd command which dont know what is it.

No new software installed .
Did you try scanning your PC?
I've experience this problem before.

And with the experience, my computer was infected at that time.

Try to scan your PC in Safe Mode only.
