Answer» Okay I am having trouble with date FORMATTING in excel. This is what the cell has in it...2-09-1977. I need that date to be in 2/09/1977. However, if I right-click on the cell and format it as a date it TURNS it into a funky number. I have received this file from someone else so these CELLS were not formatted to be a date. Please help!!Can you upload, i.e. attach to a forum post, an Excel file CONTAINING such a date? To do that, click on Additional Options... at the bottom of the forum message COMPOSITION panel and use the Attach feature.
