Ok If any one can help me Im desperate. I am creating a worksheet for work and I need to creat an If Formula. My problem is I dont know how do it... at all.
So I need to know how to make and "if" formula ie... if this cell is greater than, less than etc....can any one help

open excel........click help ....... enter If Then Else in search box ....press search .......then select the situation you want and the formula setup is there .

total no of houses value £60000 80
Formular==SUMIF(A2:A7,">80000",C2:C7)
This means in the range of A2 to A7 that is greater than 80000 then sum the total in the range of C2 to C7 CORRESPOND to the greater than 80000.

Since A6 and A7 is > 80000 so the sum of C6 and C7 =3350,000
Its a starting point for you, you REALLY need to study it abit to understand what my if formula is trying to do, imagine you have over a thousand entries like that to do on a spreadsheet manually?
