Solve : Excel problem 2 - protecting cells?

Answer»

Hi,

I know how to protect a WHOLE worksheet but can't FIND out how to protect indvidual cells in Execl 2002. Can anyone help please. I don't want the little blighters to CHANGE the formula in my Times Tables as described in Execl Problem 1 - adding True's
ThanksSelect the cells you want to "protect", right click, choose format cells, protection, check locked. Cells are locked by default, if I remember correctly, so you may want to SELECT the cells that you want unlocked and unlock them.

The select Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet from the main menu. Select the options you want, probably locked cells but not unlocked cells.
