Answer» Hello,
I'm using Microsoft Excel 2000 and Win XP Pro.
On the file menu it gives me the option to send to and then mail recipient. There is NO option to send to a mail recipient as attachment, how do I get this feature back?
I tried Excel help, but it just said it should be on the file menu under send to? But it's not there?
Any ideas? It doesn't answer your question but it may help.
1) Attach the file from within your email program. 2) FIND the file with windows explorer, right click and make your selection from there. 3) Make sure you click on the menu downward arrows to SHOW the full list of options. vv 4) Reinstall Excel. Have tried all the above with still no option to send as attachment in Microsoft Excel??? Any other ideas? I can send it VIA explorer but not in Excel?NeilP.....open excel...... then on the excel toolbar up top ......click on toolbar options ....then add/remove BUTTONS........then Reviewing ............ now make sure there is a checkmark in front of Mail Recipient ( as attachment )
that should fix it for you .
dl65 Ok, that helped a little in the fact that I actually now have an icon, only problem now is the icon is grayed out and I cannot click on it??
How do I "activate" the icon?NeilP....... Thats odd , did this issue just start ? Have you recently changed anything or added or removed any excel toolbar buttons ? Can you open excel and take a screen shot of it and post it here for us to look at ?
