Solve : Excel - spliting city, st, zip?

Answer»

i have an excel spread sheet that contains city, st and zip in one cell. i need to separate these into 3 indivual cells. My problem is the some of the cities are one, TWO and sometimes 3 words so USING a delimiter of space will not separate them correctly. Any ideas? Thank you,
JoanneWell that was a pretty easy Google Search.

Does that data contain any other delimiter/separator besides a space? I received an solution from another site. But thank you for all your input.

The link I posted above will work based on the example you gave and other examples. I even tested it on White River Junction which is in Vermont. A 3 part city.Thank you QUOTE

That is funny. Probably one of the few post offices I didn't visit when I worked on the Surface visibility project which barcoded all your equipment and trucks.
But i see that city name all the time because I went back to work at my old job doing data processing for a direct mail printing COMPANY.
