Solve : Excel spreadsheets/protection?

Answer»

I have an excel spreadsheet set up CONTAINING formulas and collapsed rows. I can protect my formulas in the columns and then protect the sheet. People can then work on the areas that are not protected. However there doesn't seem to be a way to uncollapse the rows without unprotecting the sheet. WOULD really appreciate any HELP.hi Patches -- Different versions of Excel offer this feature.
For example, I am using Excel 2003, and it provides these kinds of features. I also have Excel 2000, which has some more limited protection features, but not as sophisticated as in Excel 2003.
What version of Excel are you working with? With more info I can provide more details. If you want me to walk you through doing this, let me know.

thanks
