Answer» Sorry, I'm sure this is basic, but I can't find this info ANYWHERE. Where is the wild CHARACTER in Excel? IE, I want my whole K column to look Sum their A and B columns, for their lines: K1=A1+B1 K2=A2+B2 K3=A3+B3 etc.. Basically, I don't want to type the same THING in on every line, and want to use a character that will replace the A2,A3,etc to ACurrentrow. Any help?Jus do the first calculation as described. Then GRAB the cell with the sum for that in the bottom right corner and drag it down to the end of the lines that you want summed. It will do all of the CALCULATIONS automatically.Thanks!It works in all directions as well for rows or colums, with any formula.
