Answer» No power chord only USB port...and I plug it in the USB port...Is your computer laptop, or desktop? However when I plug it in there is some lights on the DISCIf the drive is USB POWERED, how can you see any lights while PLUGGING it in, since the drive is suppose to be PLUGGED in while the computer is off?Mine is desktop....you are right actually when I plugged it in when computer was shutdown and no lights...and then after it didnt show up in diskmagic...I plugged it out and plugged it in again and then it showed me lights.....
