Answer» I have a portable 40gig usb hard drive (ntfs). I want to transfer data from pc running win98se (fat32) to pc running xp (ntfs). At the moment win98 doesn't recognize usb drive so if I reformat usb drive to fat32, will xp recognize it? I just wanted to know if xp will open an EXTERNAL drive which is fat32.
