I bought Axis & Allies a while back and when I first got it, it worked great on my computer. Sinse then I have uninstalled it. Recently I installed it but when I tried to open the game, I recieved this error message:

"An error has OCCURRED:
thread MAIN caught unhandled exception- Microsoft C++ Exception (EO6D7363)
trapped at 1B:7C812AFB- File: Data.rwd Chunk: Footer Offset: 1549756- reading PAST end of chunk (actual)

To aid the development team in fixing bugs, please submit log file (Logs\log-3.log) and minidump file (Logs\log-3.dmp)"

My OP is Windows XP I easily have all the system requirements but I just can't seem to work my way around this.

I have searched for all sorts of advice but nothing has helped I would really appreciate some successful advice...thanks.

Go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

sfc /scannow

Have your xp disk handy in case you are asked for it. Note the space between sfc and the /

Read up on SFC ...... so you know what's going on.....
