Does anyone know good free password protect program that will encompass folders? I have NUMEROUS documents in separate files that I wish to protect.
I have looked at Reference NUMBER: CH000705 but only Folder Guard - A commercial version seems to do the job.

It sounds ideal. Has anyone any experience of it please?What version of Windows are you running? Also from who are you trying to setup security? Are you trying to make it so no one can read your files remotely or are you sharing the computer with someone else?

Windows XP Home Edition.
My computer is not networked. I would prefer not to have to log myself on each time. I would really like to password protect a number of folders & back these  up to a flash drive STILL protected..Having had a bad experience with 'Cryptainer' [please see separate post]I have bought a flash drive with password protection. This does the job, although not on the hard disc.
