Answer» Just out of curiosity and for wanting to TRY new things. I was wondering if there is a free program that I could run on a second computer that will ACT as a firewall for internet to the main computer? Like a middle man between the internet and my main computer. You will need a router, and any decent one will have its own firewall. Yeah I know that. But I want to try this out. Is there any free software that is easy to use on that go between computer? Like a middle man between the internet and my main computer.I GATHER you're talking about Internet Connection Sharing, but I don't know whether having a firewall enabled on the computer connected directly to the Internet protects client computers as well.
