Hi guys, ever since I got my new computer, I realized when I play a GAME. It'll minimize. Nothing appears in the background as if something interrupted it. It just seems to minimize and require me to bring it back up again. I dont know why. Anyone got any ideas?
This happened with me until i changes the settings in my Anti-virus. I have AVAST and it has a Silent / gaming mode. This stopped any ALERTS while a full screen app is running. If you dont have Avast then are you running Windows Messenger or something similar. It may be MINIMIZING when you recieve a message. Same thing here with some games. Solution was to change their compat settings and use "disable desktop composition" on them. No problems since.Well, I DO infact use MSN when I play, HOWEVER when I get these minimizes its not giving me alerts. Im not getting any alerts at all.

This happens usually on older games like GTA SA, and 911 First Responders. Doesnt seem to happen on GTA IV however.

I've disabled desktop composition on one of em so Ill see if that helps.
