Answer» Hi there, I'm sort of an intellectual lightweight when it comes to hardware and software, but here goes. There's been an ISSUE with my machine lately, and I don't really KNOW what the solution is. When I play CERTAIN games, almost always ones that are 3D in nature, there is a weird stuttering that occurs when the camera is turned, or, in the case of FPS's, my character moves forward. It's not a framerate issue, I don't think. I know what low FPS looks like and this isn't it. Also, it seems purely tied to movement. The problem is most poignant in games like Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, Fallout: 3 & New Vegas, Portal 2, Total War: Shogun 2, and Mass Effect 2, but there are certainly other instances. This part's really weird: I tried recording a clip of Arkham City exhibiting this symptom with fraps, but on the recording, all of the shaking and stuttering is absent. I don't know what's up. I'll post here what I think are my 'computer specs'. I hope this gives a clue as to what could be going on. Thanks for taking the time to read. I really appreciate it.
