Try placing an external house-fan against the computer to cool it down - see if it still crashes.If it is an overheating problem Carbon, it is going to take me a bit of time to sort out. A lot of things point away from this my friend, one of them is my computer case. I recently upgraded my computer, new case as well. This case has more vents and air holes than the average. It's full of 'em! I had my eye on ventilation from the beginning here. In as far as I am aware, I have a decent fan arraignment also. This, together with the fact of the overall behavior of my machine with my other games and programs makes me wonder some. I ain't saying that you are wrong here Carbon bud, it is just that this fence is a bit high to jump right now is all. Keyword: TRY The key to troubleshooting computers is to try everything. If you try something, and it doesn't fix the problem, then we know to look elsewhere.I have again used my old Manchester tool here fella's and have taken measures to see that I am 'COOL MAN' lol Thanks again yous guys!you could use speed fan to speed up the fans thus increasing airflow and cooling your rig down I have that gizmo bud, but I am also looking into adding a fan or two also. Many thanks here! Listen guys, I just wanted to let you know and to pass the word around here with regard to crashing games. I have SOLVED my issue fellas and I will bet that my action here, if repeated, will solve a *censored* of a lot of these crashing issues. Carbon Dioxide was spot on here and so are those of you who said the same, or similar. First of all let me explain, that I have always kept my eye on the heating element of my machine ...or thought I did. When I BOUGHT this new case of mine, the number of places for fans and the fact that it looks like a COLANDER impressed me. Its a "Cooler Master"! The size of the fans already in the machine, also gave me some peace of mind. Yet I have been having loads of GAME freezing and crashing issues for the last few months now. Well, I have had another two fans fitted and brought the overall temp of my machine down by at least another 20 points! Guess what!...... No more crashing or freezing PROBLEMS lads ..NONE WHATSOEVER! My fans have been set up so that they suck in and blow out to keep a stream of cool air circulating in my machine. As I write this post, I can feel the draught coming out of all the spaces on the front of my desktop! So don't hesitate to fill your machines with these baby's lads... they are never a waste of money and THANKS once again here! |
