That crummy board has been replaced with an EVGA 123-YW-E175-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i FTW SLI ATX. It's sweet. The board's not crummy, it was just listed wrongly on the site. For future reference, any board that does not have an Nvidia chipset (exception: Intel Skulltrail, and upcoming X58) will not support SLI. Sorry to see you got misled by the description, but at least you know now.Well, the board was crummy for another reason. Newegg refunded the price because the onboard LAN was defective. Ive installed the best drivers i could find from nvidia and it still wont read my video card. MAYBE im using the wrong driver. if you have any links to driver downloads that you know work or any advice it would be much appreciated. nitelife2989, start your own thread, don't hijack other threads.clearly the post above cant read... i have the latest drivers and wont work the disk i got is a xfx disk (came with the 9600 GT card. it tells me that it isnt a xfx card and nvidia says it cant find any software to match my hardware any advice.Sorry, nitelife2989. I had specified certain features (2 VGA outputs, or 1 VGA and 1 DVI) and found a few listed in there as not fitting that. Given the number of things they sell on there, it's not surprising there are mistakes. You're more than welcome to try the solutions presented here, but if they don't work for you, start your own thread specific to your own issue and we will gladly come help. This prevents confusion with trying to solve two potentially different issues in the same thread, regardless of how similar they might seem. We're not telling you to go elsewhere, we're just telling you to start your own thread for your own issue. |
