Answer» I have been using a home-brewed (in basic) data MANAGEMENT PROGRAM for about 20 years, on a series of computers running DOS 3.1 and subsequent. I now have a (RELATIVELY) new Dell Dimension3000 running XP and a hp2600n color laserjet. The computer has a serial port (along with the usb) but the printer does not. Now I can't get the data or the program itself to print. Everything else prints just fine, in LIVING COLOR! Is there some command I can put into my batch file to get back to work?
