Answer» I had a 150G HDD C: & bought a 450G HDD, I partitioned the 450G to 150G & 300G, D: & E: respectively Using Ghost 2003 I Cloned partition C: to D: No problem until I removed DRIVE C: & Installed D: as the boot device "Disk Boot Failure, Insert SYSTEM disk & Press ENTER"
If I connect D: as a Slave all the data as C: is there
how can I get it to boot ?
THANKS for all helpost 2003 Cloned Partition not booting Check the hard drive documentation or the label on the drive itself for master/slave jumper settings. i got this one before, check which one is master / slave and jumper as well...don't ever forget the IDE bus / SATA bus,you probably connect incorrectly to the master or slave HDD. Guys he stated he removed the C: drive... Phil when you set the partitions on the new drive did you remember to make the first partition active ? ? What partition utility did you use ? ?uppsss....my bad..
