Well umm... my copy is FAIRLY new, and sometimes companies tend to allow less and less for free.

And also, those instructions do not make much sense to me. Does the first one say to open the picture or the animator program? My pictures open with the windows viewer, so double-clicking them will not do any good. maybe you could send some screenshots. I guess I should have said first open Gifcon then from within Gifcon...

All I know is it works when my Lady uses the steps I put up above.

Try loading a single gif file into it like your avatar and see if you can make the background transparent.

If you get that far then I think it's only a matter of doing them frame by frame for ANIMATED ones.Umm... no... this version is very different from the version your Lady uses. Well anyway, thanks for the help. I looked in SourceForge, and there will be an opensource gif animator coming out sometime, so I'll have to get that, but it isn't out yet .Sometime soon I'll reinstall Gifcon & have a play with it, I've GOT a bit of other stuff to do for the next couple of days.
