I use Coreldraw 11. and I see a LOT of talk about the FREE GIMP Program..

When I use Coreldraw I can Draw 3D objecst ad shadows and Light.

I can import photos and make a Document.
I can ad text.

Now it also can with Photo Paint and I can Cut OBJECTS out with a Laso Tool and things like this.

Is the GIMP just for photos editing or can I do all this??can you draw 3d objects an shadows and lights
