Solve : goobox?

Answer»

I was looking through My Programs and ran across a file called Goobox. It appears to be some kind of cd ripper program. I don't know how it got on my computer. Does anyone know anything about it. Is it a safe program or should I get rid of it?As far as I know Goobox is a CD player/ripper for the Linux Gnome desktop. I didn't know there was a Windows version of it now.

I've just done some searching and can't find a Windows version of it anywhere.I don't think I downloaded it. I have never seen it before today. I do run windows xp sp2.If you don't need & didn't download it...get rid of it!

Kind of a Cool name when you think about it?Who else uses the machine ? ?My 28 yr old SON STOPS by now and then. I found the file name was ACTUALLY poogle and it is a file left by one of the antispy programs I had run. Now besides my hair falling out, can't hear worth a d..m, now I can't SEE I GUESS. I have a 19 inch monitor but I guess I need a bigger one.

Sorry, my bad.No reason to apologise...feedback helps to look at things from another direction.
Stop by anytime.

goobox is actually qoobox and is a folder that ComboFix uses to store backup files that it quarantined.
