Solve : got 2 problems...?

Answer»

first thing first my pc in the house has no internet... and there is no hope ofr the connection and im just in internet cafe to log this...

this is the problem # 1.... the motherboard in my pc has only usb 1.0 and last year in july when i bought my pc i include usb 2.0 card (if im not mistaken with the *card*) the vendor install it including the driver but my mistakes i did not ask for the cd driver (but the vendor is closed already)... now sometimes it work most of the time not, so im thingking the problem is in the driver... so how can i know what kind of driver i need for this.... so i can dl'd here in the internet cafe when i get time....

Problem # 2 is related to problem # 1
so i thought its all in my usb 2.0 card is the problem....
when i start my pc loading all in the desktop im getting this

so i take out the usb 2.0 card then restart my pc again but its STILL same problem (found new hardware) even though i did not install any hardware

any suggestion and help....

thanks in advanceJust so you know in future if you remove a PIECE of hardware when you replace it and re-boot Windows will re-detect it as New Hardware even though it has been in the machine before...

Are there any identifying marks or a name brand on this USB card so we can assist tracking down drivers for it ? ?And what operating system and service pack?ok thanks, ill take a LOOK on that again when i get home

XP SP2

ill post it soonExcellent.Quote from: patio on June 04, 2007, 04:51:30 PM

is there any solution to this "Remove then install it again in the motherboard" as you said Windows will re-detect it as New Hardware even though it has been in the machine before...

i got the pic...

on more

hope that will help "ME"

thanks in advance now i regret why i did not do it earlier

this morning i decided to buy in the afternoon a AVR (auto voltage) coz i notice that something is going wrong

im using my pc this morning for almost 2 hours to find this "problems" i posted but suddenly i heard the DEATH sound "cha-chack...cha-chack" then i tried to locate where its coming from its from the HD then suddenly pc shutdown... then i guess its bye-bye for my old 20gig HD

By the way thanks all for the effort you gave (always to patio and GX1)
now this thread i think time to close

but hey i still bought the AVR , and i think the HD---i dont know when can i buy this for US$35. ... i will try save some from time to time then the time will come i can afford this.... hopefully soon

Thanks again...

That drive is getting ready to die...to confirm this DLoad and run the HDD manuf. DIAGNOSTICS on that drive.

I wouldn't trust it.
