Solve : Grouping objects together on vista?

Answer»

Hiya everyone, new here today. Ive offered to do my friends hubby's 50Th birthday invites and I'm having problems. I've put a text box inside a text box but cant group them together to move them around the page etc. I have a group button but it is always a faded Grey colour and I can't use it. I have a windows home premium vista package on my computer. I hope I have a hero out there who can help me pleeeeeeese. His party is 6Th September this year.

What text box, where? I assume you are creating an invitation, what software is it?Im using microsoft office word 2007 and I've written invite details in a txt box then put another text box around it as a guideline for cutting it outLooking at Word 2003 here. I see no need to insert a text box within a text box. Merely clicking on the text box button on Word's Drawing toolbar (menu ENTIRELY different in Word 2007, of COURSE) one time creates a box within box. The outer box would be invisible unless you format it to choose other colors and type for Line and choose a FILL color.

Here's an image of a test file in Word 2003:

Again, this comes from just one instance of ADDING a Text Box by clicking on the Text Box button.I want a black border around the inner text box and a light cutting border around the outer text box thats why i need two text boxes, not sure if I'm making it clear.

Well, since that's exactly what my image provided, no, you're not making it clear. LET's look at this again:

What part of your two-point requirement is missing there?
