Answer» For some reason many programs like Firefox, Chrome, STEAM just refuse to open on my COMPUTER. If I CLICK on them and nothing happens. I even found them in their containing folders and clicked "open" but still nothing happened. Only a few programs like Microsoft Word, AIM, and IE will work. The weird thing is that all programs work fine on another user on my computer. However, the programs will open fine with Safe Mode on my user. BTW: I have Windows 7. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? What is new or different since the LAST time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?I don't know. My DAD uses this computer too sometimes. And when I logged into my account, that's when the problems started happening.Quote If I click on them and nothing happens.
