Solve : Help! I cannot reinstall my electronic med. dictionary .? |
|
Answer» My Stedmans electronic medical dictionary stopped working, did not come up, so I TRIED to reinstall it, but I got the MESSAGE: The file C\Program files\SEMD60\SEMDuser.fdb could not be opened. I might have lost some program files with Ccleaner? Possible but doubtful - possible that CC cleaned out the old log files, I guess. Sounds like you are in contact with the program's developer - I'd pursue the ISSUE with them unless you think that you have some underlying hardware/OS problem Good luck!Instead of uninstalling, have you tried reinstalling over the existing copy? Was it SEMDuser.fdb? If so, did you place it in the C:\Program Files\SEMD60 folder? |
