Answer» OK, I have a 500G external hard drive that I run all of my programs off of instead of my ancient 512mb 80g Sony Vaio (it's been a great computer, though). Well, as of last night, for some reason, my external drive has been MAPPED as the H drive! All of my info is still on the external, but my programs are all linked to the G. I googled how to remap the drive, but when I go into the admin tools, computer management, there's no drives listed in order to select which ONE! I'm so confused not to mentioned lost cuz NONE of my programs will run! Somebody please help! tks... Right click My Computer and select Manage then Disk Management... You can re-assign the drive letter there... Unplug any flash drives and/or card readers when doing so. Be Careful and make sure it is the correct drive or you could MUCK things up even worse...
