Answer» I recently purchased Quickbooks Premier Industry Edition 2008 and attempted to install it to my computer. Everytime I try to install it, I see the Quickbooks 2008 page then it FREEZES up. I am still able to do other things on my computer, but they work very slowly. My computer then requires a hard REBOOT. I can install other items. Her are my computer specs: WIndows XP SP2 1 GB RAM 2.4GHz Pentium IVWhen is the last time you did regular maintenence on that machine ? ? Run diskclean, defrag and chkdsk /r on it... How much free space is on that drive ? To be honest there are alot of things that could cause this ISSUE so post lots more info on the machine any NEW hardware or software installed and someone will be along in a bit...
