Please Help !! media center keeps popping open all the time on my laptop. I have tried disabling it but then the window POPS up telling me the program can not open, this is just as annoying. I do not use this and would not care if it was removed but I do not see it in my programs and also do not want to remove if it will affect anything else. It seems to affect the operation when I am online gaming with microgaming as a note.
HELP it is driving me nutsopen MSCONFIG and then go to SERVICES tab, and then scroll down the list and find WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER SERVICE LAUNCHER.. . there should be a tick in the service launcher check box, - remove it - and then click APPLY followed by ok

then restart your computer and see if this works
