|
Answer» Hi everyone. The file type has already been determined here Yes, but I don't think the right type was determined. It doesn't SEEM right that a photo program would produce a 641MB file. How do you know ? ? It could be a slideshow presentation...if you've ever worked with Photoshop files you'lld be aware of some pretty large file sizes...Quote from: Linux711 on March 23, 2011, 11:42:02 AM It doesn't seem right that a photo program would produce a 641MB file. Why not? That is a ridiculous thing to write. Anyhow, Photowebber phw files are "session files". These are project files containing many images. The project files are a lot like *.WMM (Windows Movie Maker) files, in that they both are project files that can be converted to other file types in the host software. In other words, you would open a WMM file in Windows Movie Maker in order to compile that project file into an AVI or whatever FORMAT you want. It's the same with Photowebber, only instead of compiling a video format, it converts the project into a web page. So the final web page might be quite small but the project file containing the original media to be processed could be a GOOD deal larger. |
