Answer» hello im trying to use Tor to put my self behind a automatic proxy (or hidden ip address) for my protection. now i can't seem to see that it changes my ip address in any browser never mind all browsers. -i check my ip with a few websites (cmyip.com) and (my-proxy.com) they both show my isp ip address. -my main goal is to use Tor or a different program to totally hide my ip address and with any browser....essentially completely hidden. -i dont want a program that just hides it with a certain browser since i use programs that connect to the web as well. i want to hide it from those programs also. You can find limited success from proxies and so forth, but there is no 100% solution. I've heard of people being completely invisible (so they claimed) but I could never get them to tell me how they did it.i like ghost surf, it redirects your traffic so you get a different IP, it blocks cookies, user agent, referrer, and AD`s. it`s not free but worth it to PROTECT privacy.
