Solve : help with "Tor"? |
|
Answer» hello im trying to use Tor to put my self behind a automatic proxy (or hidden ip address) for my protection. now i can't seem to see that it changes my ip address in any browser never mind all browsers. Has this got anything to do with your other topic? No, that's for his friend. OK well THANKS...anyone use Tor for non piracy related purposes like myself...any tips for it?.....oh and no other programs come to mind? ps. I myself usually love to assume because it is so easy....but it is more likely to be false then true....so i dont instead i usually stick to the direct question....although i don't mean to imply anything to all you "genius" people. I was teasing you, but BC gave you a pretty comprehensive answer in his post above. I've heard of people being completely invisible (so they claimed) but I could never get them to tell me how they did it.i like ghost surf, it redirects your traffic so you get a different IP, it blocks cookies, user agent, referrer, and AD`s. it`s not free but worth it to PROTECT privacy. |
