computer won't install my mouse driver when i attach it through USB.  

i get a blue screen/stop error EVERY 10-30 MINUTES...  on something DIFFERENT each time so i can't figure out the problem.  
won't READ certain cd's IE  Nortons antivirus, Nero burning rom 6, Windows xp Professional.

whenever i try and play a GAME it says i that i must have direct x 8 or higher to continue, but i have dx9...  THEN it asks me to put the CD back in.
