Solve : Hi everyone, wondering how I can reset my usb driver cache?? |
Answer» My computer has 2 USB ports in the front, 2 blue USB ports on top and 4 USB ports in the back. ...I want to cleanup all the previous mouses and keyboards devices I put in one of the USB ports...There is no reason to do this. Why do you want to do this?Just incase I find out in the future one of the drivers I installed were corrupt and I didn't know. This is a case of trying to fix things that aint broken. Right clik every instance of USB roots and hubs and select remove/uninstall... You will RECIEVE a warning message...ignore it. Re-boot...they will automatically be re-installed. And a good question might be how you expect to know in the future. You don't need to do this, but i'll tell you how anyway. Use this: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html Press the uninstall button on each device you want to uninstall. BUT AGAIN, YOU DON'T NEED TO! The reason I decided to answer is because it annoys me when I ASK a question and people say Why? |
