Problem restated - I bought a CD that uses Hi-Fi Stereo I get the video but I cannot hear the sound.Have you checked in Control Panel/Sounds and Multimedia to see if the appropiate devices are enabled ? ? Speakers hooked up properly ? ?
Does the SB card have a mixer device in it's software ? ?WIll headphones not WORK? Where would I look to see if my sound card has a mixer? in Control Panel usually.
