Answer» Okay so, I have a acer aspire v3, 771G-9809... HID keyboard driver. I started loosing KEY functions a couple weeks ago, but it was just a couple... [backspace, enter, backslash, down/right arrows] and after about an hour the keys would magically START working again. Tried cleaning it, NOTHING. Now its getting worse, along with the original keys these don't work anymore either [shift, 689 on non number pad keys, f1-f3]... and it won't magically start working anymore. What I have done... -deleted and updated drivers = nothing -virus/malware scans = nothing -restarting multiple times, hard restart = nothing -smashing on keyboard = nothing, but made me feel a little better... Does anybody have ANYOTHER options for me, perhaps an alternate driver to download... Thanks. 1) I deleted your Hijack This log. 2) Keyboards do not require drivers for basic functions. 3) It sounds as though your keyboard is BROKEN. TRY contact Acer.
