Answer» I have a pc used only by me & only for communicating with others & the USUAL surfing. Should I use Home Group or Work group ?"communicating with others" how? Are they in the same building? Or, do you MEAN over the Internet?Sorry ! By communicating with others, I mean writing to friends & family, posting on favorite websites stuff like that. pc not used for work. I get the idea that work group would mean just that;used for work, while home group would mean using the pc the way I just described. Make sense ? The Home Group or Work Group generally have nothing to do with connecting to the Internet. They relate to how computers in a home or OFFICE are networked together.
